You've worked on major broadband infrastructure across Northern Illinois. What have those experiences taught you about what communities need to attract and retain business?
As Comcast continues to invest in its network throughout Northern Illinois, reliable and advanced connectivity is a significant component in attracting and retaining businesses within a particular community. Additionally, business owners of all sizes increasingly view connectivity as a core element of their operations and depend on partners such as Comcast Business to help them adapt as their needs evolve. Throughout Lake County, Comcast Business provides a tailored set of Internet, cybersecurity, TV and mobile solutions to help businesses compete and grow within communities.
Having worked with leaders throughout the region, what do you see as Lake County's biggest economic development opportunity?
Lake County’s biggest opportunity is capitalizing on its combination of established employers, emerging commercial districts, talented workforce, and terrific quality of life. In our view, continued investment in network infrastructure and connectivity solutions will also help attract new companies, support existing businesses, and create more opportunities for Lake County residents.
What is something people should know about Comcast's work in Lake County?
Comcast has served Lake County for many years and continues to identify emerging commercial corridors to extend its network and support businesses of all sizes with the connectivity they need to compete and thrive. In 2025, Comcast also opened its fourth Xfinity Store in Lake County with a new location in Round Lake Beach to help residents and businesses learn about Xfinity and Comcast Business products and services directly from our local team.
What most excites you about working with Lake County Partners?
On a personal level, I was fortunate to work at Lake County Partners early in my career, which gave me a firsthand appreciation for the organization’s role as a trusted convener of business, civic and community leaders working together to strengthen and modernize the local economy. The opportunity to continue supporting the organization and collaborate with an integrated network of leaders to help connect communities and businesses with advanced connectivity solutions is especially exciting.
